The cessation of trading for Vicks Market auctioneers at the end of February and their role as manager for the Tuesday produce market at the end of March will mean a new Tuesday market manager has to be found.
Although there is still much to be worked through on the exact logistics for market stall trading once the market area changes ownership, it is very clear there is a strong need and will to ensure the market continues as far as possible in its current capacity.
The Ruby Market Partnership are taking tentative steps and considering options to see if it can fill this role. They have the necessary insurances but are in need of manpower and funds to support their position.
They are currently advertising for someone to fill the role as market manager. Please follow this link if this is something you are interested in – http://hatherleigh.net/newsdisplay.asp?newsid=1398
